Now & Then belongs on any 60's - 70's shelf and except for a greatest hits compilation is as good as you get when it comes to the Carpenters. John Parr. In Cash Box Year-End Charts of 1973, Now & Then appeared at number 20 and the title for the album was suggested by Karen and Richard's mother, Agnes Carpenter. In 1995, he bought another Daytona that is. The whole first side, called Now, was composed of more current covers and original songs. Side 2 features an oldies medley. Album 1973 15 Songs. It did however, shift 1,300,000 copies, giving the Carpenters a 6th consecutive platinum album.
