Текст песни: Chorus: Oh, play me some mountain music Like grandma and grandpa used to play Then Ill float on down the Music is the sixth studio album by country music group Alabama, released in 1982. A crossover success, it ranked well as an album on both country and pop charts and launched singles that were successful in several markets. This is Alabama's most successful studio album. In 1998, the album was certified 5 Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Early LP pressings of this album were mastered at a slower speed. Reissues made after have corrected this error. On their third album, 1982's Mountain Music, Alabama hit their stride, streamlining the rough edges out of their sound and turning into a well-oiled hit machine. Here, when they stretch out it's on the nearly seven-minute Changes Comin' On, which doesn't jam like Southern rock but instead has a smooth groove that veers close to soft rock. it was also instrumental in defining the group's own brand of mountain music. 1 country hit in 1982.
